Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support in both educational and healthcare settings within an elementary school environment in Atwater, CA. Key Responsibilities: Provide speech and language support to preschool and elementary-aged students within small groups of 2-4 children, as well as 1:1 sessions when needed. Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists to implement therapy plans and progress monitoring. Support students during both the regular school year (CSY), extended school year (ESY), and non-school year (NSY) programs. Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy activities. Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each student. Qualifications and Experience: Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification. Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings, preferably in schools. Strong communication skills and ability to engage young children effectively. Ability to manage groups and individual therapy sessions with patience and positivity. Reliable and committed to maintaining consistent attendance from ASAP through June 6, 2025. Schedule and Location: Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Located in Atwater, California within an elementary school environment.
