A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to provide services within a PreK-12 educational setting in the White River Junction, VT area. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work itinerantly across eight schools in a supervisory union, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Manage caseloads with a balanced split of approximately 50-55 students, sharing responsibilities evenly with the district OT. Provide teletherapy and home health OT services as needed to accommodate student needs. Travel between schools within the supervisory union, with most locations 15-20 minutes apart and the furthest within 50 minutes. Qualifications: Valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, particularly within school and home health settings. Proficiency in teletherapy techniques and remote service delivery. Strong knowledge of gross motor skill development and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams. Location and Schedule: Position based in White River Junction, VT. Contract duration aligns with the school year calendar. Immediate availability preferred; the first day was August 27, 2025.
