This position requires a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work in a school setting serving students in grades K-5. The role involves working with a center-based program dedicated to students with intellectual disabilities, some of whom use assistive communication devices.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments. Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to collaborate with educators and parents. Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services in accordance with each student's IEP. Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of students with intellectual disabilities. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress. Qualifications: Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with young children, preferably those with intellectual disabilities. Ability to use and integrate assistive communication devices. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within an interdisciplinary team. Knowledge of special education laws and regulations regarding IEPs. Schedule and Location: Full-time, five days per week. Located in Hudson, Colorado. Contract position. Caseload and compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
