A full-time Occupational Therapist is sought for a comprehensive K-12 school setting in Abingdon, MD, serving elementary, middle, and high school students. This contract position covers the entire academic school year (CSY) and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the developmental and educational success of children across multiple age groups.

Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students at three separate school locations: elementary, middle, and high school. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Evaluate students fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills to support their educational goals. Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and assessments in accordance with school district and state guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide support strategies. Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in Maryland. Experience working with children in a school-based setting (K-12) preferred. Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies to diverse student needs and developmental levels. Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with educators, parents, and support staff. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards. Location: Abingdon, MD services provided at elementary, middle, and high school campuses. This contract role offers a dynamic work environment focused on student growth and interdisciplinary collaboration. The position requires flexibility and dedication to supporting children through a crucial period of their educational journey.
