A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year in Cicero, IL, focused on supporting high school students with Specific Learning Disabilities. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique learning needs. Collaborate with teaching teams to co-teach and support student progress in ELA and Reading. Monitor, assess, and document student growth and adapt instructional methods accordingly. Maintain effective communication with parents, guardians, and support staff. Foster a compassionate and supportive classroom atmosphere focusing on students strengths and challenges. Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with high school students, particularly those with Specific Learning Disabilities.
