Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Duration: Full school year (NSY contract) Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities Manage caseloads in one of the following settings: 3rd-5th grade autism classroom (social learning center), middle school resource room, or elementary resource room Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success and inclusion Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to address social, behavioral, and academic goals Monitor student progress and adjust instructional plans accordingly Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and school teams Desired Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with students on the autism spectrum and/or in resource settings Strong knowledge of IDEA regulations and best practices in special education Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences through dedicated specialized instruction.
