A dynamic opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary students in a resource classroom setting during the 2025-2026 school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instruction and support to 12 students, including one semi self-contained student with high functioning autism and verbal abilities. Utilize your expertise to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet students academic and social needs. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student growth and success. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation to guide instructional strategies. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and achievement. Qualifications: Valid Learning Disabilities (LD) or Multi-Categorical teaching certification. Experience working with elementary-age students in special education settings. Strong understanding of special education laws, instructional methods, and behavioral interventions. Ability to manage a resource classroom with diverse learners. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Location & Schedule: Based onsite in Florence, SC. Full-time schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
