Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs Deliver direct speech-language therapy services, focusing on measurable progress Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support accommodations and modifications Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions appropriately Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal-setting Provide guidance and resources to families and caregivers to support therapeutic outcomes Qualifications: Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Valid state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills within educational multidisciplinary teams Knowledge of IEP processes and relevant educational laws Location: Milpitas, California, conveniently located near San Jose, offering an engaging community environment Benefits and Schedule: Scheduled hours aligned with the academic calendar, including school vacations Competitive hourly pay based on experience The position offers guaranteed work hours with flexible scheduling options This contract role is an excellent opportunity for licensed SLPs aiming to support students communication development in a dynamic school setting during a leave assignment.
