Build fullstack features with a bias to frontend and UX ownership Craft thoughtful, fast, responsive UI components that interact with LLMs and agents Work closely with backend engineers to build bridges into orchestration and infra Pair with PMs and designers to rapidly iterate on new ideas and prototypes Help define best practices for AI UX — what does great prompting, feedback, and fallback look like? Own the end-user experience and obsess over polish You Might Be a Fit If
You have 3+ years of fullstack engineering experience You care deeply about design, usability, and building products people love You have strong product intuition and proactively identify improvements without being asked You’re comfortable moving fast and making smart tradeoffs You’ve worked in early-stage or zero-to-one teams before You’re curious about AI and excited to shape how it gets surfaced to users Bonus If

Data — the existing analytics infra we’ve built puts us in a unique position to build useful AI products Org commitment — We are all in on this and devoting lots of company $ to it. This isn’t a sideshow research project. Tight team — We’re keeping the team intentionally small and insulating it from org bloat — no roadmap review, etc. Work closely with the Amplitude co-founders Base pay range: $182,000.00/yr - $305,000.00/yr This role is eligible for equity, benefits and other forms of compensation. Based on legislation in California, salary details vary by location: California (San Francisco Bay Area) total target cash $203,000 - $305,000; California (outside SFBA) total target cash $182,000 - $273,000.
