Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Delivering instruction and support in self-contained or inclusion settings Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and families to enhance student growth Applying evidence-based interventions to promote learning and development Monitoring and assessing student progress regularly Maintaining detailed and accurate records in compliance with guidelines Qualifications: Valid Rhode Island Elementary Special Education Teacher Certification Enthusiastic educators, including both experienced teachers and motivated new educators, are encouraged to apply Available Positions: Position 1: K-1 Mild-Moderate disabilities, 8 students, supported by teacher assistants in the classroom Position 2: Grades 1-3 Mild-Moderate disabilities, 6 students, supported by teacher assistants in the classroom Position 3: Grades 1-4 significant disabilities, 5 students, supported by teacher assistants in the classroom Hours/Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated team in a supportive educational environment.
