A full-time opportunity is available for experienced Special Education Teachers specializing in elementary education. This role involves working onsite with classrooms of 8-12 students diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. The position spans a full school year of approximately 24-25 weeks, providing consistency and dedicated support to students in need.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each student's unique needs. Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies to engage students with Autism and developmental disabilities. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and support staff, to enhance student learning and development. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with families. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth and independence. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification. Proven experience working with elementary-aged students, specifically those with Autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. Strong classroom management skills and patience. Ability to work collaboratively within a team to support student success. Passion for supporting students with special needs and dedication to their academic and social development. Location and Schedule: Position is located onsite in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Full-time commitment during the 24-25 week school year. Interview availability on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
