A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought for a K-8 school setting to provide expert behavioral support and intervention. This contract role is anticipated to span the full academic year, with a focus on supporting elementary students, particularly those on the autism spectrum with significant behavioral needs. Key Responsibilities: Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address challenging behaviors. Collaborate with school staff and district personnel to implement evidence-based behavioral strategies. Support and enhance data collection processes related to student behavior and progress. Monitor intervention effectiveness and adjust plans as necessary to improve student outcomes. Preferred Qualifications: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. Experience working with elementary-aged students, specifically those with autism spectrum disorder and complex behavioral challenges. Proficiency in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs. Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and district teams. Strong skills in data analysis and behavioral documentation. Location: Hawthorne, NY
