Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other educational professionals to integrate music therapy into individualized education programs (IEPs). Use a variety of music interventions to address cognitive, emotional, social, and physical challenges. Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary. Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions to promote communication, self-expression, and behavioral regulation. Maintain compliance with school policies and professional music therapy standards. Desired Qualifications and Experience: Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) or equivalent. Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings. Strong knowledge of music therapy techniques and evidence-based practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs. Familiarity with educational regulations and IEP development preferred. Location: Evansville, Indiana Position is based within a K-12 school environment.
