Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to middle school students Deliver specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with state and federal regulations Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote inclusive education and maximize student success Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure growth and achievement Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational guidelines Qualifications: Active Ohio teaching license or relevant K-12 licensure valid for special education Experience working with middle school-aged students in special education or intervention roles preferred Strong knowledge of interventions, behavior management strategies, and special education law Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and students effectively Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards Details: Location: Columbus, OH Age Group: Middle School Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Contract Duration: Current school year (CSY), starting ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) This role provides an important opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational journeys while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.
