A full-time Intervention Specialist position is available at an elementary school setting in Columbus, OH, for a contract duration through the current school year, ending May 22, 2026. This role primarily involves supporting students with special education needs, focusing on an elementary caseload largely consisting of kindergarten through second grade.

Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and pull-out services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Learning Disabilities (LD) Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to support student progress Monitor and document student growth and adjust instructional strategies accordingly Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment Qualifications: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly kindergarten through second grade Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions for ASD and learning disabilities Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 6 ASD and 5-10 LD students Effective communication and collaboration skills Schedule and Location: Full-time position, Monday through Friday Hours: 8:40 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. Located in Columbus, Ohio This role is ideal for a dedicated special education professional passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young learners requiring specialized interventions.
