Seeking a dedicated educator to lead a dynamic 3rd-grade classroom within an elementary school setting. This full-time position, based in Cicero, IL, offers the opportunity to engage and inspire young learners during the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. The role involves delivering a comprehensive general education curriculum tailored to third-grade students, fostering both academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities: Plan and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards for 3rd-grade general education. Assess and monitor student progress, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and other documentation as required. Qualifications and Experience: Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with certification in Elementary Education. Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or a related field. Masters degree in a related area is preferred but not required. Experience working with elementary-aged children is advantageous. Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
