A school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the current school year on a contract basis. This role supports speech-language services for high school students, providing essential assistance to licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in delivering effective communication therapy.

Location: Quincy, MAKey Responsibilities: Assist SLPs in implementing individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies Support educational staff by providing strategies to improve student communication within the classroom Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and therapists to promote student success Qualifications & Experience: Current certification as an SLPA or appropriate experience in a school setting Experience working with high school-aged students preferred Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt approaches based on student needs Strong communication and organizational skills Knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders This contract position represents a meaningful opportunity to contribute to student growth and communication outcomes during the critical spring semester.
