A K-12 school in Rockland, ME, is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year. This on-site, contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment, supporting students' psychological and educational needs from kindergarten through 12th grade. Both part-time and full-time applicants will be considered.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, providing direct services to students, supervising an intern, and collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in promoting students' mental health and academic success through data-driven assessments and intervention planning.
Qualifications and experience desired:
Valid school psychologist certification or licensure appropriate for the state of Maine
Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a K-12 setting
Strong skills in supervising interns or trainees
Knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
