Utilize appropriate communication methods, including sign language and assistive technologies. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Collaborate with families, staff, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive support. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid teaching credential with specialization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. Experience working with K-12 students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred. Strong understanding of educational strategies and accommodations for hearing-impaired learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs. Location: Fremont, California This contract role spans the full academic school year and is ideal for educators passionate about advocating for and empowering students with hearing challenges.
