Full-Time Position Summary:
The School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessment, intervention, and consultation. This full-time position offers an opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and community resources to support student success. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services.
Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support academic and behavioral goals.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making.
Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
Promote positive school climate and mental health awareness initiatives.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
Valid Indiana School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain.
Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments.
Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and related special education laws and regulations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a school setting.
Familiarity with data collection and progress monitoring systems.
Training in counseling, behavioral interventions, or crisis response.
