This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students across two school buildings located close to each other in Cary, NC. The position is a contract role for the upcoming school year, offering direct engagement with a diverse caseload primarily consisting of younger children, with a focus on students in kindergarten through fourth grade, and a few middle school students requiring ongoing intervention.

The caseload ranges from 20 to 25 students, including those with moderate to severe needs as well as many who are integrated in regular education classrooms. This role is designed for in-person service delivery and would require availability approximately 2 to 2.5 days per week. Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience in healthcare and pediatrics settings preferred Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus but onsite presence is desired Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required Ability to manage a caseload with varying speech and language needs in school-age children Key duties: Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings Develop and implement therapy goals tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress Maintain detailed records and documentation according to school policies Provide supportive, evidence-based speech therapy services within the school setting Benefits of this role include engaging with a supportive educational team, working with a manageable caseload, and contributing to a positive learning environment that fosters student growth.
