Location: Napa, CA Job Type: Contract (School Year) This position offers an opportunity to provide essential support services in an elementary school environment within Napa, CA. The role is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) looking to contribute to the communication development of young students during the contract school year. Responsibilities: Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering therapy services to elementary students with speech and language impairments Implement treatment plans as directed, monitor student progress, and document performance Support individualized education programs (IEPs) by participating in meetings and providing updates on student progress Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to promote effective communication strategies Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with students and staff Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification or licensure as required by state regulations Prior experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on supporting diverse student needs Ability to follow treatment protocols and work under the guidance of certified Speech-Language Pathologists Familiarity with elementary school environments and educational documentation procedures Benefits: Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school setting Work with motivated students and a supportive educational team Contract position aligned with the academic calendar Interested candidates with a passion for supporting speech and language development in children are encouraged to apply to become part of a dedicated effort to enhance student success.
