Seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an elementary school setting to support speech-language services. The position involves assisting in assessments and therapy, with a focus on English/Spanish bilingual services, helping to alleviate overflow from the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Schedule: 30 hours per week, full-time Duration: ASAP through End of School Year (EOSY) Contract type: School Year (NSY) Responsibilities: Conduct bilingual English/Spanish speech and language assessments under the supervision of the SLP Provide direct therapy services to students in need of speech-language support Assist in managing caseload overflow to ensure timely and effective intervention Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the SLP to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Qualifications: Valid SLPA certification or licensure as required by the state Experience conducting bilingual assessments in English and Spanish preferred Ability to work effectively in a school environment Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students communication development in an elementary school setting.
