A K-12 Special Education Teacher position is available on a contract basis for the current school year in Northfield, VT. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within a structured educational setting.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals and abilities Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure an inclusive learning environment Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches accordingly Maintain accurate records in compliance with educational regulations and policies Support students social, emotional, and academic development through targeted interventions Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching certification with an endorsement in Special Education Experience working with K-12 students with disabilities in educational settings Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and behavior management strategies Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive classroom environment Location: Northfield, Vermont This contract role offers the chance to provide meaningful impact to students throughout the academic year.
