An Occupational Therapist is needed to provide essential support within a K-12 school setting in Irving, TX. This contract role spans the school year and focuses on helping students develop the skills necessary for academic and daily living success.

Key Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate students abilities and needs related to occupational therapy Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Monitor and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed Provide direct therapy services and assistive technology recommendations Qualifications and Experience: Current Occupational Therapist license with state-specific certification Experience working with children in school-based settings, K-12 preferred Knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and IDEA requirements Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Ability to create and maintain detailed student records Location: Irving, Texas (on-site in a K-12 school) This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to impact students educational and functional development during the academic year.
