A Speech Language Pathologist is needed for an in-person contract position working with elementary school students aged 5 to 11 in Des Plaines, IL. This role supports language development and helps students reach their communication goals within one elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 42-50 students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs Conduct speech and language evaluations and prepare detailed reports Collect, analyze, and document data on student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with IEP teams, including teachers, specialists, and parents, to ensure comprehensive student support Qualifications: Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) from the Illinois State Board of Education Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but candidates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply Experience or interest in working within an elementary school environment Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families Position Details: Location: Des Plaines, IL School Type: Elementary School Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. Weekly Hours: 35 hours Duration: January 5, 2026 through April 27, 2026 This position presents an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners communication skills while working in a supportive school environment. Qualified candidates who meet licensing and certification requirements are encouraged to apply for this rewarding role. Compensation for this position ranges from $41.40 to $61.40.
