A contract position is available for a School Psychologist to support middle school students in the Palatine, IL area. This role requires providing psychological services to a caseload of approximately 60 students ranging from Kindergarten through 5th grade, working four days per week. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed. Monitor student progress and adjust support plans accordingly. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Desired Qualifications: Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working with middle school student populations, particularly K-5 grade levels. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills with knowledge of relevant psychological testing tools. Effective communication and collaborative skills with educators, families, and other professionals. Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize responsibilities efficiently.
