Teacher for the Visually Impaired
in Douglas, AK. This is a full-time, onsite position serving students during the 2526 academic year. We are seeking a committed and credentialed educator who is already licensed in Alaska. Job Duties: Develop and implement individualized instructional programs for students with visual impairments
Utilize assistive technologies and Braille instruction as needed
Maintain accurate records and communicate progress with families and team members
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure inclusive learning environments
Minimum Qualifications: Alaska Teaching Certification for Visual Impairment (Required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be available to work onsite during school hours throughout the contract
