Travel Pharmacist

Contract Length:
13 weeks with potential for extension based on performance and need
Hours:
Variable schedule ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week
Shift Length:
8-hour shifts, with flexibility to work days, evenings, or weekends as needed
Compensation:
Competitive pay designed to reflect the variable hours and professional expertise required
Key Responsibilities: Verify and process medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize pharmacotherapy plans
Participate in medication reconciliation and patient counseling when applicable
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other support staff
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state and federal regulations, and best practices in medication management
Assist with inventory management, including drug storage and control
Qualifications: Current and active
Minnesota Pharmacist License
(required)
Minimum of 1 year combined experience in both inpatient and retail pharmacy settings
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to apply evidence-based practices
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility to adapt to variable shift schedules and work hours
