Opening 1: Sign Language Interpreter or ASL Teacher serving K-12 students across three schools. Opening 2: Sign Language Interpreter or ASL Teacher serving K-4 students at one school.
Full-time commitments, onsite presence is required. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and effective sign language interpretation or instruction to enhance communication and learning for Deaf or hard-of-hearing students. Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to implement appropriate support strategies aligned with students individual needs. Participate in developing and adapting curriculum and lesson plans tailored to students' language requirements. Maintain professional standards and confidentiality in all student interactions. Desired Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign Language and certified interpreter or teaching credentials preferred. Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work full-time onsite and navigate between multiple school sites (for first opening).
