Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
to lead operations within a closed-door
Long-Term Care (LTC)
pharmacy in
San Antonio, TX . The PIC will provide leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee the daily workflow to support safe and effective pharmaceutical care for LTC residents. Position Details: Location: San Antonio, TX (closed-door LTC pharmacy)
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00am5:00pm or 9:00am6:00pm
Responsibilities: Oversee all pharmacy operations within the LTC setting
Ensure compliance with
CMS, DEA, and State Board of Pharmacy
regulations
Direct workflow of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff
Maintain accurate and timely medication dispensing processes
Serve as primary liaison with nursing facilities and healthcare partners
Implement technology solutions and process improvements
Provide clinical leadership and act as a resource for pharmacy staff
Requirements: Active
Texas Pharmacist License
(in good standing)
Minimum 2 years of
Long-Term Care pharmacy experience
required
Previous
leadership or management experience
required (PIC, Supervisor, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations in LTC pharmacy operations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
