Permanent/Direct Hire Soliant Health is seeking an experienced
Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
to lead operations at a closed-door long-term care pharmacy in San Antonio, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist with strong LTC and regulatory experience to oversee and enhance pharmacy operations for multiple nursing facilities. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations within a closed-door LTC setting
Ensure compliance with CMS, DEA, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Direct daily workflow for pharmacists, technicians, and delivery staff
Maintain accurate and timely medication dispensing for LTC residents
Foster strong relationships with nursing facilities and healthcare partners
Implement technology and process improvements to optimize care delivery
Requirements: Active Texas Pharmacist license
Proven experience in long-term care pharmacy operations
In-depth knowledge of CMS, DEA, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations
Strong leadership and communication skills
