Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual student goals for grades 3-5. Collaborate with general education teachers to co-teach and support inclusive classroom settings. Implement pull-out sessions to address specific learning challenges and provide individualized support. Develop and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches as necessary. Qualifications and Experience: Valid LBS1 certification. Experience working with elementary-level students in special education settings. Familiarity with inclusive teaching strategies and co-teaching models. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Location: Chicago, IL, specifically serving the Mckinley Park area. Position Details: Contract role for the full school year.
