A full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting located in Tracy, CA. This contract role spans from September 2, 2025, through June 9, 2026, serving a caseload primarily composed of PreK through 8th-grade students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students in preschool through 8th grade. Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to create individualized treatment plans. Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills. Maintain accurate documentation of progress and adjust interventions as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans. Supervision will be provided, with flexibility for virtual OT supervision arrangements. Qualifications and Experience: Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with experience in both healthcare and school-based settings preferred. Strong ability to work with children ranging from preschool to middle school. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff. Ability to manage a caseload of diverse therapy needs within an educational framework. Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and compliance with school therapy regulations.
