Setting:
Primarily Setting III (with some Setting II support)
Primary Needs:
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), along with other developmental or behavioral needs
Team Support:
Highly collaborative staff, experienced paraprofessionals, and responsive administration
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct instruction based on IEP goals, focusing on social, behavioral, and academic growth
Manage and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and families
Develop structured routines and behavior support strategies
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Qualifications:
Valid
Minnesota Special Education Teaching License
ASD licensure or experience working with students on the autism spectrum strongly preferred
Experience with Setting III classrooms or intensive needs settings a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to maintain a calm, structured, and student-centered classroom environment
