Location: Viroqua, WI Schedule: Weekdays, 8:30 AM 5:30 PM | Saturday Rotation: 8:30 AM 12:30 PM Start Date: ASAP Position Overview
The Staff Pharmacist will primarily work in a medical office building pharmacy, with occasional coverage at an additional nearby retail location if needed. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient education, and supporting day-to-day pharmacy operations. Key Responsibilities
Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications
Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Assist with inventory management and documentation
Participate in scheduled Saturday morning rotations
Requirements
Active Pharmacist license in the state of Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
Previous experience in a retail or outpatient pharmacy setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
This is an immediate need with a competitive compensation package. Higher rates will be considered for highly qualified candidates.
