Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in delivering instructional materials and supporting daily classroom activities Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs Monitor and encourage positive student behavior to maintain a productive learning atmosphere Support classroom management and help prepare educational materials Collaborate with teachers and staff to help meet the individual needs of students Qualifications: Previous experience as a paraprofessional or working in an educational setting is preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff Patience, flexibility, and a supportive approach to assist students with varying abilities Ability to follow lesson plans and assist in implementing instructional strategies Relevant certifications or educational background related to paraprofessional duties will be an advantage Location: Position is located within an elementary school setting in Anoka, MN Contract Details: This is a contract role for the current school year, providing essential support to the classroom and contributing to students academic success This role offers meaningful engagement with students and the chance to contribute significantly to their educational journey.
