Opportunities are available for Paraprofessionals to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a contract position for the current school year (CSY) with multiple openings. Candidates will play a key role in assisting teachers and providing direct support to students to enhance their learning experience.
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. Key Responsibilities: Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and classroom management. Support individual and small group learning under the supervision of the teacher. Help with supervision during various school activities and transitions. Aid students with special needs as required, promoting an inclusive learning environment. Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with students to foster their academic and social development. Qualifications: Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff. Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in working with K-12 students. Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality regarding student information.
