A school-based Occupational Therapist is needed for a K-12 setting in Spencerport, NY, to support students' developmental and therapeutic needs throughout the school year on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12 in a school setting Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on student assessments Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom environment Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to support functional improvements Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license appropriate for school-based practice Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or related settings Knowledge of school-based occupational therapy procedures and IDEA regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork Ability to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs Location: Spencerport, NY Contract Duration: Full school year (NSY) Working in this role provides the chance to make a positive impact on students' academic and physical development by providing necessary therapeutic support.
