Key Qualifications and Skills: Certified Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings Knowledge of K-12 developmental and educational needs Ability to assess and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student goals Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals Skilled in documenting progress and maintaining compliance with school and state regulations Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students within the school environment Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom activities Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Location: New Rochelle, NY (K-12 school setting) This contract role offers an opportunity to apply occupational therapy expertise within an educational context, directly impacting student success and well-being.
