A K-12 school in Hastings, MN is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for the current school year (CSY) under a contract position. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive learning environment. Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting instruction accordingly. Utilize various teaching strategies and assistive technologies to support student learning. Maintain accurate records and comply with all school and state regulations related to special education. Qualifications & Experience: Valid teaching license in Special Education. Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles. Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere.
