Responsibilities include: Providing direct counseling services to students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges Collaborating with faculty and families to develop individualized support plans Conducting assessments and facilitating interventions to promote student success Connecting students and families with community resources and support services Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintaining detailed case documentation Qualified candidates should possess: A valid New York State Social Work license or certification Experience working in a school setting, preferably middle school level Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families effectively Knowledge of child development, mental health issues, and crisis intervention techniques Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse educational environment This contract position runs for the full school year and is based in Lockport, offering a meaningful chance to impact students' academic and social experiences during a critical stage of their development.
