Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Provide direct therapy services focused on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and regulatory standards Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive learning environments Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials valid in Maryland Experience working within school-based settings, preferably K-12 Knowledge of educational curricula and an understanding of how OT can support academic achievement Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of the student population Location: Baltimore, Maryland Duration: Contract role covering the current school year This position provides a meaningful chance to impact the lives of students by promoting their independence and success in school environments.
