A school-based Occupational Therapist is needed to provide specialized services for students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This full-time contract position, located in Fort Washington, MD, offers 35 hours per week and is available to start as soon as possible, with an anticipated start date of June 11, 2026. The role focuses on serving approximately 45 students, including 10 direct therapy recipients, with varying consultation schedulesweekly, monthly, and quarterly.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver individual and group occupational therapy services tailored to students educational needs. Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for K-8 students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Provide consultative services on a scheduled basis including weekly, monthly, and quarterly visits. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school and state regulations. Desired Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-8. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication. Ability to manage a caseload that includes direct therapy as well as consultative services. Familiarity with educational environments and individualized education programs (IEPs).
