STS Technical Services is hiring Welders in Brooksville, Wisconsin. This position requires hands-on welding expertise to fabricate, assemble, and inspect parts to precise customer specifications. The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to pass welding certifications on multiple procedures. Job Summary The Welder will perform high-quality welds on component parts according to engineering drawings, customer specifications, and required dimensions. This role also includes inspecting completed welds for non-conformities, assembling components using fixtures or blueprints, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards in a production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform welds and assemble parts according to specifications, fixtures, or blueprints Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with customer requirements Maintain a minimum quality yield performance of 99% when fully trained Enter accurate data into job tracking and quality software programs Use inspection tools, record measurements, and ensure part quality and function Select and apply correct welding wire for required materials Weld all metals and any combinations of metals, with or without fixtures or positioners Repair parts that fail inspection Complete all traceability requirements for assigned work Pass company-administered weld assessment and certification tests Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED required 3–5 years of welding experience required Strong ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and blueprints Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (fractions and decimals) Excellent problem-solving skills with standardized processes Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Safety Requirements & Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier loads with assistance Frequent exposure to extreme heat, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noise in a warehouse/fabrication setting Operate cranes, forklifts, and basic shop tools including saws, grinders, mills, lathes, drill presses, and welding equipment Wear required PPE at all times (company provided, except steel-toed boots) Participate actively in safety programs, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with all safety procedures About STS Technical Services STS Technical Services is a Top 100 Staffing Firm that partners with some of the largest names in the aerospace, manufacturing, defense, and industrial industries.
