Overview

Territory Manager, Mass Spectrometry - New Jersey at Danaher Life Sciences (SCIEX). The Mass Spectrometry Territory Sales Manager will be part of the SCIEX Commercial Organization; covering pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical accounts in New Jersey. The role reports into the Sales Manager within a highly dynamic team of Territory Managers, and partners with colleagues and the Advanced Workflow Specialist. Responsibilities

Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and forecast monthly and quarterly sales. Act as the subject matter authority in understanding analytical workflows (LC-MS/MS, chromatography) and provide Mass Spectrometry sales expertise regarding market, applications, and competition. Use sales tools and CRM to manage the funnel and achieve business results. Apply basic knowledge of sales principles and methods of showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Understand our product portfolio and explain technical products and service information. Communicate our value proposition to customers based on their needs and interests. Work in a team selling environment to navigate complex sales situations across multiple functions (Applications Support, Field Service, Product Demonstration, Product Management, Market Development Managers). Use standard account planning tools to guide own work and solve routine sales problems. Continuously grow prospects and funnel. Qualifications

Bachelors degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or similar subject area. Direct experience in scientific capital equipment sales is highly desired; candidates with inside sales, field sales, laboratory or related environments will be considered if highly qualified in LC-MS/MS. Approximately 3 years sales experience preferred. Must live within the assigned territory with ability to travel within the territory and work remotely from home office. Travel & Environment

Ability to travel 75% travel within the state of New Jersey Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record Plus / Preferred Experience

Experience selling to or working within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical laboratory space. Demonstrates strong initiative and willingness to take ownership for results, with outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills. Team player capable of bringing different departments together for optimal results. Able to build strong internal and external relationships. SCIEX, a Danaher company, offers a comprehensive benefits program and remote work options for eligible roles. The annual salary range is $90,000 - $100,000, with eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.
