What youll do Deeply understand how to scope and execute the marketing strategies needed to reach SaaS platforms and their decision makers: talk regularly to users and prospects and work with our research team for qualitative and quantitative insights that inform your work (content, messaging, positioning, etc). Develop thought leadership to position Stripe as a leader in embedded payments and the acceleration of platform payments; demonstrate how Enterprises can innovate new business models using Stripes solutions for platforms. Advocate for our existing and prospective users and become the go-to expert for your audience area. Develop differentiated audience positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product understanding, amplified through integrated marketing campaigns, field events, partners, and the Stripe website. Build content for sales and marketing teams to activate in the field, including decks, webinars, guides, workshops, and email nurture programs. Work closely with cross-functional teamsproduct managers, sales, design, PR, research and engineeringto develop go-to-market strategies and drive launches for our products. Partner with product and campaign teams to track metrics and execute campaigns that drive awareness and adoption on an ongoing basis. Think globally, adapting understanding of local market needs, competitors, and pricing accordingly.
Who you are
You have extensive experience in working with SaaS platforms (e.g., e-commerce platforms, cloud-based business management platforms, hospitality platforms, or CRM platforms) and understand how to position solutions to decision makers, influencers, and customers. You are a storyteller with deep empathy for users and the ability to adapt communication to reach and engage diverse audiencesfrom product leaders to C-suite decision makers; you have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You are data-oriented and enjoy working with insights to form balanced positions for taking products to market. You are organized and can manage highly interdependent, complex projects with multiple work streams. You are passionate about technology and can explain technical concepts in accessible terms. You are ambitious, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and can operate across both strategic and detailed levels. You are a team player who can collaborate across marketing, PR, product, sales, and other teams to execute effectively. Optionally, you have knowledge about payments and the payments ecosystem, and are excited about storytelling Stripes differentiators for software platforms and embedded financial services.
Minimum Requirements
7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, product marketing, product management, operations, or strategy consulting. At least 5 years of marketing or go-to-market experience. Experience working on marketing or growth throughout a products lifecycle. Experience in B2B settings and with sales teams is preferred. Experience in payments or financial services is preferred but not required. We dont expect you to have all these things, but more is welcome.
Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office and remote expectations
Office?assigned employees spend at least 50% of the time in their local office or with users. Remote locations are defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from an office. You may come into the office for meetings, on-sites, and events, but regular work from home is encouraged. Stripe does not cover relocation costs for remote roles. Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $143,300 $214,900. For roles with sales components, the range may include on-target earnings (OTE) and base salary. Salary ranges are narrowed during the interview process based on experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants outside the US may request the salary range for their location during the interview process.
