Overview
We are seeking an experienced
AWS Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer
with strong expertise in
AWS core services, infrastructure automation, observability, and Kubernetes orchestration . The role requires hands-on experience in building secure, scalable, and automated cloud-native environments, with a focus on
security, compliance, and high availability . Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure leveraging VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Backups, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and other AWS security/compliance tools. Configure and troubleshoot advanced AWS networking including Transit Gateway (TGW), Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity setups. Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Amazon CloudWatch, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry (OTEL) with proactive alerting and telemetry pipelines. Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Shell scripting for end-to-end automation. Manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters and configure Istio service mesh for security, traffic management, and observability. Perform security patching and vulnerability remediation in cloud-native and containerized environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Develop and maintain Python/Bash scripts for automation, operational tooling, and infrastructure enhancements. Work in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams. Proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain high availability, performance, and security of cloud systems. Required Skills & Experience
6-8 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Engineering / DevOps. Strong expertise with AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, GuardDuty. Advanced networking knowledge with AWS TGW and Direct Connect. Proficiency in observability and monitoring using CloudWatch, Grafana, and OTEL. Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD for automation. Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio service mesh. Experience in security patching and vulnerability remediation for cloud workloads. Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and tooling. Soft Skills
