Overview
Human Resources Generalist role at Regency Hospital Company (a division of Select Medical). Responsibilities
Maintain and update employee files: HR, Employee Health, Agency and Contract Services. Prepare and maintain employee new hire packets and ensure accurate and timely completion of the new hire process. Prepare employment status reports for payroll, HR and/or compliance purposes. Process and maintain all workers compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA and leaves of absences. Provide services that include applicant sourcing, recruiting and employee orientation. Establish employee relations and help maintain a culture of excellence. Handle payroll processing on a weekly basis. Maintain compliance for all regulatory bodies. Enable employees to deliver the highest quality care to patients. Implement and drive strategies for keeping each other safe. Strategically plan and handle recruitment and retention functions. Qualifications
Minimum requirements: Bachelors Degree in HR, Business or related field required (commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of the degree with approval of Corporate HR). 2 years of Human Resources experience required. Preferred qualifications: Previous HR experience in a healthcare facility with exposure to Joint Commission and CMS preferred. Familiarity with benefits administration, basic HR and Employee Relations functions, payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws. Additional details
