The Portfolio Management team plans, executes, and implements real estate and spatial solutions to support Netflix's growth. The Space & Occupancy Planner will support planning of existing Netflix offices, develop space programming for new spaces, and track changes in workplace occupancy within the UCAN region, with a primary focus on Los Angeles. This is an in-person role and not eligible for remote work, with travel up to 25%. The role reports to the local Manager of Space & Occupancy and collaborates with the global Portfolio Management team and stakeholders across the company. Key Responsibilities Liaise with local/regional business partners to meet business allocation, adjacency, and spatial needs; validate yearly headcount projections and short-term spatial programming/technical requirements. Proactively analyze, track, and report space and occupancy trends based on headcount forecasting, org changes, and space requirements. Partner with global Portfolio Management Planning, Systems, Data and Analytics teams to strategize long-term occupancy and spatial solutions; develop region-specific workplace pilots to support hybrid workplaces; inform best practices for real estate decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional local teams (Workplace, Moves, Design/Construction) to support existing sites. Develop move scenarios in collaboration with Moves teams for existing sites. Perform spatial analysis to drive changes in seating strategies and maximize space utilization. Champion change management for end users by creating and maintaining resources for navigating workplace strategies (assigned/flex seating, hybrid work). Contribute to presentations for high-visibility projects for stakeholders, including senior leadership, covering workplace standards, agile environments, and campus-wide moves. Engage with various business groups on conceptual space occupancy plans and recommendations; prepare block plans or stacking diagrams for stakeholders. Stay current with trends in workplace strategy, design, and best practices. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Space Planning. 2-3+ years of experience in workplace strategy, occupancy, and space planning. Comfortable in a fast-paced, open, collaborative environment; flexible and able to multitask across projects. Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets) with advanced data manipulation and ability to present insights. Experience with CAFM systems (preferably Serraview/Eptura). Knowledge of ADA requirements and building codes; ability to read and interpret floor plans and construction documents.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including with senior leadership. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to manage complex tasks, prioritize multiple projects, and build strategic alliances. Ability to develop business cases and manage internal networks across functions. Excellent organizational and project management skills; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; ability to produce reports and presentations.

Compensation and Benefits

Netflix compensation consists of a salary and stock options; the target range for this role is

$50,000

to

$190,000 . Details are based on market indicators and your experience.
